Terms

By creating an account you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use DamnReal.

You must be 18 or older and live in a country we support. The details you give us, including your name and date of birth, must be true. One account per person.

Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at support@damnreal.com if you think someone else is using it.

You can connect up to three social accounts. Only connect accounts you own or control. Connecting is read-only: we see your public profile and stats, and we never post, follow, comment or message for you.

You can disconnect an account at any time, which deletes everything we hold for it. The networks' own terms still apply to your use of them; connecting YouTube means you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Don't impersonate anyone, connect accounts that aren't yours, inflate your audience with fake followers or engagement, break the law, or try to access, scrape or disrupt DamnReal or other people's data.

You keep ownership of your content. You let us display your profile and connected account details on DamnReal so the service works.

An influencer account can be a virtual or AI-generated persona run by a real person. If yours is, say so when you set up your profile. We show a small AI label on your profile, your board card and your shares, and you may not remove it. You are the person responsible for the account, for the pictures and posts on it, and for following each network's rules on labelling AI-generated content. Human verification and the DamnReal badge are only for human influencers.

When paid work launches, payouts will go through Stripe and require Stripe's identity verification. Stripe's terms apply to those payments.

Approved influencers get a referral link on My profile. Someone who opens it and creates a new account within 30 days is your referral. A referral counts once that account is an influencer who is DamnReal, or approved if it’s an AI influencer, with at least 5,000 followers across its connected accounts.

Each referral that counts earns you $5, for the first 100 referrals that count across all of DamnReal, in the order they count. After 100 the program pays nothing more, though links keep working. We send rewards through Stripe, by hand, with no set date, to the Stripe account connected to your profile; without one we can’t pay you. Rewards may be taxable income, and that’s yours to report.

You can’t refer yourself or an account you control, and fake, bought or duplicate accounts don’t count. We may withhold or take back a reward that breaks these rules, and we may change or end the program at any time; rewards already earned before a change are still paid.

You can stop using DamnReal at any time and delete your profile yourself from My profile, or ask us to at support@damnreal.com. Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone; the Privacy page says what goes and the financial records that stay. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

DamnReal is provided as is. We don't promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.
