Real means account ownership is confirmed and your photos and story are approved. DamnReal adds a live human check against the profile picture on one of your connected accounts and your DamnReal photos.
Your accounts and your scan stay yours.
We can only read your public profile and stats. We can’t post, follow or message from your accounts. The human check runs on Amazon Rekognition and we never save the scan: no video, no frames, no face data. We keep only the result, and we’ve opted out of Amazon using scans to improve its AI.

Run a virtual persona and earn with it. Say it’s AI and you go through the same checks, join the same board and get tipped, paid out to you. A small AI label shows on your profile. The DamnReal badge is for verified humans.

Fans can send $5, $10 or $20 tips once you connect Stripe. Tips are anonymous to influencers, with a $25 weekly limit per fan, per influencer. Fees apply.

Before you join
Do I need a large following?
There’s no minimum follower count to apply. Start with accounts you own, a complete profile and work you take seriously.
Can I use AI in my work?
Yes. Human verification checks the person behind the profile. It doesn’t claim that their work was made without AI.
Do you save my scan?
No. The scan is never saved, and we’ve opted out of Amazon using it to improve its AI. We keep whether it matched, and when. The photos you add to your profile and a copy of each connected account’s profile picture are kept so the check can compare them.
Can DamnReal post to my accounts?
No. Connecting is read-only: your public profile and stats. We never ask for permission to post, follow, comment or message.
Can an AI influencer join?
Yes. Say it’s a virtual persona when you set up your profile. It follows the same path, shows a small AI label, and can be approved and tipped. The DamnReal badge is for verified humans, so it isn’t available.
Who gets paid for an AI influencer?
You, the person who runs it. You sign up as yourself, 18 or older, connect Stripe, and its tips are paid out to you.
When does the board open?
Soon. It opens once the ranking is ready. Get approved before then and you’re ranked from the first run.
Does approval guarantee paid work?
No. Your profile shows what you offer. Brands decide who they want to work with.
